APRIL 2012
As the weather gets cooler we look forward to warming up your lives with our amazing open fire place.Located at the end of the bar this spot is
ideal for romantic chats and cuddles, seriously intellectual conversations, pagan ceremonies, marsh mellow roasting, cattle branding and things of that nature. On a cold day we generally get the old girl blazing before we open so by the time you come in and press your icy rump against the railing it is sufficiently hot enough to cook your glutes. So if your old heater isn't cutting it come down to your favourite pub for a drinky in front of our roaring inferno.
Beer of the month for April is Melbourne Brewery Mountain Goat's Hightail Ale on tap here at Clancys Freo. Here are
the stats that matter.

“this ale has a robust, fruity flavour, well rounded and lively on the palate.” The Age.
“this dark yet slightly fruity Victorian beer, produced by a tiny microbrewery, kicks like a mountain goat and is probably my favourite Australian ale.” Pints Of View Magazine (CAMRA), Scotland.
AWARDS ;The Hightail has collected a small bag of awards at the Australian International Beer Awards over the last 8 years including Trophy for Best Draught Ale (Small Brewery section) as well as numerous gold, silver and broze medals.
